Government of Telangana instituted Telangana Excellence Awards to recognize the exemplary public services rendered by Civil Servants working at different levels of administration. The awards are given for the areas of General, Innovation and implementation of Flagship schemes. The excellence achieved by the officer in public service in the capacity of individual, groups and organization are recognized.
The Selection Committee constituted after elaborate procedures recommended for the year 2018, Thirteen (13) names of the officers who either initiated the project or added value while implementing the flagship schemes of the Government.
The Search Committee constituted vide G.O.3rd cited above for selecting officers who have done outstanding work in the field of public administration after due diligence and detailed deliberations recommended two names of officers.
Government after careful examination of the recommendations of the Search Committee and Selection Committee hereby approves two and thirteen names of officers respectively – total fifteen for the TEX Awards 2018 as detailed below:
